I found my love for yoga around 18 years ago working in a fitness facility and was approached around trying and eventually teaching some yoga classes. I originally found it was a way to feel active and strong and it felt new and fulfilling to me to be moving purposefully with breath. I’ve been blessed to have had some amazing influential people guide me (and continue to guide me!) and motivate further yoga training for me over the years. Trainings that have focused on vinyasa flow, jivamukti, pre and post natal, trauma focused, and meditation. I’m forever humbled and encouraged by this practice that helps me to be a more gracious human, loving and patient mother, and present to the people I serve. I have worked full time as a mental health therapist and have also taught yoga classes (on and off) for years. I hope I can continue to encourage and inspire others to find their own strength and resilience whether on or off their mat.
