Inversion Workshop

Interested in turning your practice upside down? Inversions strengthen and open the whole body, improves circulation, forces us to practice humility and perseverance and allows us to see things from a different perspective. They can trigger excitement, but also fear. Join us as we help to take the intimidation out of inversions and learn the foundations to get upside down. We’ll introduce and practice techniques, drills, modifications and props to help build proper alignment, body awareness, strength and confidence to SAFELY approach inversions. Bring your sense of play because once it all comes together and clicks, inversions are FUN!!!!!

Sciatic Nerve & Low Back Pain

Low back discomfort affects men and women equally and is experienced by almost everyone at some point in their life. This condition can range in intensity and can be caused by various factors. Yoga is capable of helping to strengthen the back in order to relieve distress in this area and help to prevent back pain in the future. This workshop will introduce yoga poses that will help alleviate pain, practices and daily life tips for a healthy back, adaptations to common yoga practices to do at home or in a group class, and introduce relaxation techniques such as breathing or meditation to help cope with pain and improve daily life.

Yoga off the Mat Workshop

Everyday stress can lead to mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Children learn about their world through the example of adults. This is why it is so important for adults and children to have methods for coping with everyday stress. This workshop will give strategies to adults by bringing yoga off the mat and develop an understanding of how yoga and meditation can be incorporated into everyday life, improving quality of life from one generation to the next.
